Cleaner Information for Happy Valley House

This page is for cleaners of Happy Valley House, and is setup to provide detailed information on our specifications for cleaning and how we like things set up for guests.

For the most part we simply want good judgment – if a coffee table is in the middle of a room, move it! Our house is quirky and we have a lot of little details, that are hard to fully cover, but we hope these page and examples will help.

First thing to note is that we use the pre-arrival, cleaning, and post-arrival checklists from Evolve, which are very detailed and thorough.  We have modified them to fit our house.  We leave copies to be filled out hanging in the laundry/supply area.  And blank copies can be found here

Extra guest supplies, linens, cleaning supplies are all stored at  on the shelves in both bathrooms, in labeled crates.  There are extra guest amenities – soaps, snacks, drinks etc. on the shelves at the bottom of the basement steps.
