Over our travels we have stayed at a number of private vacation rentals, and have found that some of them were so sterile and devoid of character that we felt we might as well have stayed in a hotel; especially when we had to make sure all the linens were in the laundry before leaving!  We vowed that our house,  Happy Valley House, would be a unique rental with lots of character and charm.  From the dragon on the roof to rock and roll bedroom featuring original rock and roll posters from the 60’s and 70’s, we hope you’ll agree.

After a day of exploring the nearby neighborhoods of Ballard, Greenwood and Fremont, unwind on our spacious outdoor patio, surrounded by towering trees. Savor a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as you bask in the tranquility of your surroundings. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for a cozy evening under the starlit sky, sharing stories and creating cherished memories.  (some of this sounds really cheesy, corny and over the top, and since it was written by an AI, it is.  We we’re going to change it, but it’s really all true, and we think you’ll agree).
